The ultimate goal of executive coaching is to accelerate and enhance the contributions by an individual to the organization. My coaching approach is to develop a customized coaching plan that includes: defining desired results/outcomes, assessing the current state performance, identifying obstacles to enhanced performance, co-developing the activities that will bring desired results, measuring and monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to the coaching plan. Whether you are a seasoned executive or transitioning to a new role, working with a coach can assist you in taking your game to the next level while increasing your impact as well as your professional and personal satisfaction.
Career and Family Transition Coaching
Welcoming a child to one's family is one of the greatest joys in life. It also presents challenges to learn how to manage the demands of personal and professional priorities. For both women and men having a baby is certainly life changing. Beginning before the baby's arrival and stretching through the return to work, there are strategies that parents can employ to make the transition happen more smoothly. Planning for the leave time, communicating key messages to the office, setting boundaries for returning to work and defining workable solutions to time management challenges are all important steps. My objective in the coaching process is to, through questions and discussion, help think through ways to be successful at work and at home.
You, the client, are in the driver's seat. As your coach, I am riding shotgun with you helping you navigate the journey.
A coach helps provide a safe environment to evaluate and rethink how a client approaches his/her career. A coach helps a client determine and define strategies that will lead them to achieve their end goals.

Hi, i'm Lulu
After just shy of 20 years as an HR professional in two of the Big Four public accounting firms, in 2007, I founded LWG Consulting LLC, a human resources consulting and executive coaching firm.
I have an MA in Human Resource Management from George Washington University and a BA from Colgate University, am a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and hold various certifications including International Coach Federation - ACC, Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, Voices 360 Feedback, Transition Coaching, and Emotional Intelligence.
I am a married mother of two adult sons and am active in my Kensington, MD and greater Washington area communities.
